I have a client who is using both product and service sales, and have come across a field in the "New Invoice" view called "Customer Information (Inherited)". Apparently the field contains the incident text from the service record, which is probably all good. However what I notice for the invoice is that the service header information (incident text), is copied to the invoice lines. And not only that, for line items that are not service related and do not have any line item text from the sales order, the usual small blank line is now being doubled in size, causing an invoice to be spread over several pages (which it should not be).
I have looked all over and cannot find any documentation on this field and the expected behavior, and was wondering if anyone else have come across this and can share some information with me. Thanks in advance.
