can't launch WEBI report with Unknown data type "error"

Hi ,

I created a webi report on excel file, and I set it 'refresh on open', so I try to launch this WEBI report, but quit before opening the WEBI report, I check trace file, it shows 'Unknown data type "error".

I know there is some type issue for some excel fields, can you tell how I can uncheck property 'refresh on open' for the report? so I do refresh manually after open the report.

Is it in Rich client /Launchpad ? Is the report working without on open refresh ?

Where does your excel file stored . Make sure you have placed it in BI launchpad and used it for reporting .

It appears you are using unsupported datatype .

Select each column and set as text / number in excel and check . Remove doubtful fields from excel and try
