Missing parts Email notification while doing GR through MIGO

Hi,

I want to implement the functionality to send the email notification to MRP controller while doing GR for a missing part. Please lead me through the configuration and output determination.

I am little confused about missing part concept also. Pls explain that also

Thanks for the reply.

I have already checked this. But not working for me.

Could you please tell me what is a missing part from GR point ?  Is it a material with ZERO stock at the time of GR ?

Hi Nikhil,

A missing part is nothing but a shortage of material  and not the material with zero stock. It is a stock of material that is already assigned to a GI at the time of GR. It means that the current requirement could not be covered from existing stock.

I got it.  when u said it is already assigned to a GI at the time of GR - u mean the Procurement (PO) is created referring to a production order or any other requirement?

Hi,

It can be reference to production order or reservation, sales order...etc, check the requirements in OMB1 transaction under define checking rule option.
