ReportDocument - VS2008 vs VS2010

In the version of the ReportDocument class that is available in VS 2008 for BO XI 3.1, there is a ReportLogons property that I have used in the past to set the table prefixes in a report when changing the database a report is pointed to. This takes care of the issue where the schema owner may be different in different databases that have the same structure - such as when moving from Development to QA to Prod.

In the version of ReportDocument that is available in the download for VS2010, I no longer see this property. I also don't see in either the Developer Guide or the API reference any way to update this information. Is there any way to do this with the new version?

Thanks!

    Hi Dell,

Not clear exactly what you were doing in 2008 and BOE 3.1. CR for VS 2010 no longer is allowed to connect to BI4.0. You can get the SDK for BI 4.0 from Service Market place.

Once you install the SDK from the Client Tools Setup you'll have access to Managed Reports again and be able to update the connection properties for the Report an database.

For unmanaged reports in CR for VS 2010 you can use the .Location property to update the schema.

    Thanks

    Don
