Renaming of Notification.Order type and IR02

Dear Friends,

I have 02 queries:

1. We have made numerous Orders against Notifications with a specific Notification Type for e.g Turnaround. Now we have realized that some of them are of type Preventive.

Is there a way of changing all the Notifications and their corresponding Orders to a different Type.

2. Using IW31, we could see the list of Person responsible for given Work Center and Plant but when using IR02 it does not display any Person assignment for that particular Work Center / Plant. I wonder then from where does the list display in IW31?

you have to double click on Person as shown in 2nd screen shot.

and then assign any number of persons to work center.

Thanks for the tips.

When i follow your instructions, I can assign Persons to the Work center as presently none is assigned.

But my question is how do the list of person (presently i see 10 persons) against the Eork center/Plant appears in IW21 in Person Responsible field, if no one is assigned using IR02.

Hi

In order if you have tick marked the special search help and specified Partner function in order as VW in OIOM for the order type in IMG then system will default the search help agaisnt the wrokcenter hence it will show only the person assinged to the work center.

But it think in notification it will display all the employee

In Order it only shows 10 persons for particular Work Center/Plant but NOT in IR02. I just want to know from where these 10 persons are fetched.

It works fine for other combinations of Work Center/Plant i.e what ever it shows in IR02 also shows up in Order.

If you can attach some screen shots, it will help us to understand your better.

In Order Header & Notification Header, Person Responsible will come from Partner Functions which you assigned to either Order type or Notification type.

Only while assigning person in operations details screen, you will get the list as per work center assigned.

Now from where does those 10 person appears in first screen shot if none is assigned in IR02?

It could be the reason--

Order might have been created earlier, by that time Persons are assigned to that work center. After that, that may be removed from the assignment.

Check the validity date of work center & Basic start date and creation date of order.

Thanks for all your inputs.

It has been resolved as Pooled Capacity was created for that particular Work Center/ Plant.

Using tcode CR12, i was able to change and assign new Persons.

1. You can configure allowed change in Notification type in PM configuration. But it will work only for General Category Notification, not for Maintenance Notifications.
2. In IR02, you can HR Assignment button. Click that one & Click Organisational Unit option. In the right side, select the structure from HR details (Provided HR module has been implemented).

Thanks for your reply to my first query. It clears my apprehensions.

As for my second query, i did what you said but there are no Persons assigned. I know that HR module has been implemented that is why i am getting a list for different work center/plant but for this particular Work Center/ Plant it does not show any assignments.

That is why I wonder why do I see a list of Person Responsible for that same Work Center/Plant in IW21 but not in IR02.
