webi export to excel

Hello

i am getting error when i am trying to open excel that "Unable to Read File". i know it is product error in SAP BO 3.1 SP2.

so there is one Workaround:

1. Login to Infoview
2. Navigate to Preferences and expand "Web Intelligence"
3. Select "Prioritize the formatting of the documents" and save
4. Save the WebI report as an Excel spreadsheet and it will now open

My question is if we chose “Prioritize the format of reports in the excel document” option:

1. Are all existing reports changed to be scheduled under “Prioritize the format of reports” condition?
2. If question 1 is yes, what is the impact to all existing reports?
