Hi. I recently installed BOBJ Analysis 2.4 for MS Office.

MS Office version --> 2010

Windows 10

After register my user and password I get this message

The wrong NCO version of GAC has been taken.The version taken is'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_32\sapnco\v4.0_3.0.0.42__50436dca5c7f7d23\sapnco.dll [3.0.13.0]' Although the version was expected 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Office AddIn\sapnco.dll [3.0.18.0]'. SAP Note 2323523

I downloaded and installed SAP .NET CONNECTOR 3.0, however it did not fix the problem.

Grettings.

Hi, thanks for your quick answer.

I have solved my issue.

What I did was copy these two files:

sapnco.dll

From --> C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Office AddIn\

To --> C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_32\sapnco\v4.0_3.0.0.42__50436dca5c7f7d23\

sapnco_utils.dll

From --> C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Office AddIn\

To --> C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_32\sapnco_utils\v4.0_3.0.0.42__50436dca5c7f7d23

Alejandro's suggestion worked for me as well. Before I read the note, I only copied sapnco.dll and that's not sufficient.

I copied both, but it didn't work for me. Tried downloading this as well, it didn't work for me too:

2297083 - SAP .NET Connector Version 3.0.18

It asked us to check on this note at first:

2323523 - Analysis Office: Wrong NCO version taken from GAC

Also, try to deinstall the .NET Connector from GAC (if you’re not using it for something else) or upgrading it (like described in the note).

The default is typically that no .NET Connector is installed in GAC ….

So reading your error, my guess is to delete C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_32\sapnco\v4.0_3.0.0.42__50436dca5c7f7d23\sapnco.dll file and try again
