Same cost center use in work center master & equipment master

Hi,

What is effect on system or reports if used same cost center in work center master record & equipment master record. This cost center also used as settlement reciver.

    No effect. System will work fine. However generally sender cost center should be assign to work center and receiver cost center should be assign to Equipment.

    Effect would be--

    Cost is coming from Sender Cost Center (Work Center Cost Center). It will go to Receiver Cost Center (Equipment or Other Cost Center).

    If you keep both the cost centers same, cost will be deducted from CC1 & again it will be added to same CC1. It will nullify the labor cost in CC1.

    If you want to see the labor cost in future, it may not be available.

    So its better to go with different cost center.
