setting user status for many orders in IW38

Hi,

1)How can we ensure a provision for setting user status for many orders in IW38 screen(you can only relase / teco in IW38..No provision to set user status is available)

2)Similarly , while doing TECO through IW38 , If I want to mass confirmation also in background with actual hours= Planned hours ,is it possible ?

Regards

NP

I hope, this should be possible.

    For Confirmation - BAPI_ALM_CONF_CREATE

    For User Status - STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN

For coding, check BADI_EAM_RIAUFK20_FCODE_CUS1 for adding functionality in IW38.

First of all why you want to maintain user status for multiple order at a time? User statuses can be different for individual order.

How you want to tackle system when you are using number statuses? In IW38 how you are expecting system to set number user statuses which need to follow sequence?

    Mass Confirmation

Do you want to use your own formula to calculate actual hours of work in confirmation?

In back ground will it be same algorithm for all order type for confirmations?

      Good question ..

at 5 PM ..user wants to confirm 95% of the orders with user status as "Completed" (not teco) .

The program will proceed further if the status can not be set due to any reason .

95% of time pallned hour matches actual time , then why confirm one by one ..
