Dear Experts,
Currently we are storing monthly components in Infotype 8 whereas we have created custom infotype to calculate CTC.In 9*** infotype we store
1.Basic components
2.Yearly components (Leave Travel Assistance,Medical Allowance,etc.)
3. Retireal Benefits
4.Other Allowance
1+2+3+4=CTC
CTC+ 5.Performance Pay (Once in a Year)=Annual Gross
We want to deploy Performance Appraisal system and client want one place to store all Wage types to derive CTC.I would like to know if you have any relevant documentation on the same. How to flag wage types in Infotype 8 as yearly/monthly?
Thanks and Regards,
Bhagyashree
Hi Bhagyashree.
Put all wage type inside Table T539J Use PRZNT for Different Different wage type and SUMME for calculation of CTC= 1+2+3+4
use TABLE V_T7INA9 and Allowance group **** in this table put all wage type.
Maintained all wage type in TABLE V_T510
Thanks
Akhilesh

Hi,
You can create a WT for employer's contribution, but copy this WT from say /TPA (Basically it should not get paid). Make the wagetype permissible in IT0008.
Then use the PRZNT and SUMME functions in Table T539J to arrive at the CTC value.
Also, since you are customizing anyways, you can look at the option of developing a report to calculate the CTC which can read the values from different infotypes instead of a custom infotype that stores wagetypes. This is because the variable pay would vary in value and is usually not stored in IT8 when paid.

Dear Diwakar,
Thanks for the Input.I have doubt in SUMME as PRZNT we have already used to derive different components.
1.Our Requirement is to configure all Monthly+Annual+one time pay out components in infotype 8 and derive CTC.
2.I have created one custom wage type copied from /TPA which should sum up all m+A+o components.
Thanks and Regards,
Bhagyashree
