Hi Wesley,

In the IMG activity “Maintain Usage for Work Clearance Documents”, you have defined the usage for your work clearance documents. Depending on the usage an Operational WCD behaves differently. For example, you can hide statuses, such as “Tag”, “Tag printed”, …).

If you set the status PREP (Prepared), the system automatically check the completeness and correctness of the WCD items by considering the use of the WCD (see the documentation of FM
WCFZ_PREPARED_CHECK).

I assume that you have hidden the status “Tag Printed”. Therefore you have received the errors for example the "Print format must not be set".

Dear Uwe,

I rework the WCM process with a new created FL which is not connected to any previous WCDs.

in SPRO, i disable Physical Blocking Required and Tag Required in ''Maintain operational data' as snapshot shows below. after change,  error 'Print format must not be set' and 'Physical Blocking' do not occur when setting WCD prepared, but error 'incorrect control parameter' still exists.

regarding usage of WCD, the config info is shown in snapshot below.

i do not know what results in incorrect control parameter.

BTW, could you share me the documentation of FM WCFZ_PREPARED_CHECK? I can not find it in Wiki.

thank you very much!

Best regards,

Wesley

Hi Wesley,

You have defined that the system should hide the status “Tag Printed”.  Therefore for example it is not permitted to mark the indicator for the tag print at the maintenance screen of the WCD.

Please check the FINAL values in the WCD and NOT the PROPOSALS of the IMG activity
''Maintain operational data”.

The documentation is part of the coding.

Uwe

Remove tick Tag , and Print Tag from tagging phase and tick option Untag.

Remove blocking approval and give a try.

First of all set as prepared for work application. then in tcode WCT7 open WCD.

there click on maintain screen icon and  tag equipments/Fl.

Then assign WCA to WCD.

Then you have to set prepare for WCD.

Please follow above steps and let me know if you still facing problem. Probably I will help you to solve your problem.

hi Yogesh,

i did operations in the following order.

1. create WAP from order.

2. create WCA from WAP

3. create additional WCA from WAP

4. create WCD from WCA, fill items in maintenance screen

5. set prepared for WAP

6. set prepard for 2 WCAs

7. approve permit in additional WCA

8. approve Tagging in first WCA

9. set prepard for WCS, then error occurs

is that correct order?

thanks

Let's start with new order. Please close old WAP, WCA and WCD.

Create new order and assign WCM permit , Then create WAP and set prepare. Then create only one WCD and revert status.

Dear Yogesh,

i am reworking step by step.  but i have a question that if i create a WCA or WCD seperately, how can i assgin them to super-level object WAP or WCA?

Assign the WCA to WCD as per the below shown screen.

Choose the multiple selection icon as shown in below screen.

Below shown screen will be popup. Now choose the Execute icon on the below shown screen.

Below assignment screen will pop up. Here you can select your WCA & check the “assign “icon.

Check the continue icon & then save the WCD

Hi Yogesh,

thanks for your reply.

i have reworked again but it still raises error.

i find the error occur during completeness and correctness check, so i check it in SAP Help.

thers is a discription as below.

Check: Completeness and Correctness

Use

Obligatory check whether the required untagging condition/type of a technical object has been maintained. This must be maintained at the untagging or temporary untagging stage at the latest.

Features

At the start of the untagging or temporary untagging phase, the system checks whether the untagging condition/type of the technical object, which should be tagged/untagged, has been maintained.

is it because i didnot maintain untagging condition/type in configuration or master data of WCD?

following is snapshot of configuration 'maintain operational data' and WCD.

if you need other info, kindly let me know.

thank you very much.

Have a look on below screen shot for tagging of technical object.

Wesley,

Looking at the error screenshot, it looks like your FLoc. 01-01-01 has 2 Equipments or Sub-Floc. Technical Objects as 01-01-01-01 & 01-01-01-02 which are not setup correctly. Check the 2 Technical Objects for the errors.

Hope that helps.

Thanks.

hi Wankash,

i have checked the master data of technical object but there is no finding.

after i changed the configuration of operation condition/type in Maintain Operational Data, e.g. disable phys.blocking req. and tag required. there is only one error 'Incorrect control parameter' left.

is there any other WCM configuration which impact WCD to set prepared?

thanks!
