XML message is not generated - Publish to catalog

Hi experts,

We need to publish the contract from SRM to MDM.

I select the option to publish the contract while creating the contract. But XML message (catalogupdatenotification_out_ is not generated in SXMB_moni for this.

can you please help what is the issue.

Hi Ravi,

When we make changes only to Catalog indicator at header level we do not trigger the trasfer.

But you can do the following if you are changing only catalog indicator.

Goto transaction SM30 and enter the view BBPV_COMP_FIELDS.

Maintain the following entry.

Compare Method : CCT
Structure Name : BBP_PDS_HEADER
Field Name     : CATALOG_IND
Structure Field Comparison or not : 'I'.

Save it.

Once you maintain this entry system will consider this field for transfer.

Also please check if the NOTE 1692631 is present in system.

issue is resolved with note 1685264  - Report SRMMDM_CTR_TRANSFER - Contract Distribution Flag

Issue was that I was selecting "distribute contract to catalog" at line item level but to send the contract to MDM, this is option is must to select at header level.
