PCUI Urgent Help Needed

Former Member

I am trying to make the country dropdown a required field in the CRMM_ACCOUNT BSP. When I access it via the Blueprint Application Builder the country dropdown is missing from the designer window.

Has anyone ever encountered this situation where the country field is missing from the Blueprint Application Builder?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Jason

Hi Jason

The BAB is a useful tool, but you will probably save a lot of time by just editing the blueprint tables for that field group.

The BAB is essentially doing the same thing, but presenting it graphically.

Dom -

Thanks for the help. However, I did edit the table for the country field group and it is still not reflected in PCUI. It only happens for the country field. All the other fields that I have made mandatory work fine.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Did you look into the actual blueprint tables as well? Tiest.

Yep. Hi Tiest. I will be working with you this Monday on this issue as well as extending the bill plan we created into PCUI.

As far as the country issue goes I went into the field group table which is ACC_SRES_01 and created a copy of the 2 country fields that SAP provides. I checked them both off as mandatory but it still does not show up in PCUI.

We can go over this on Monday when you arrive.

Thanks.

Oh oke, I we should be able to fix this. Looking forward to meet you next Monday, Tiest.

Sounds good Tiest. However, if I could get this working before you get here that would be great.

We are creating "custom fields" and want to extend them to our "Quote Management" BSP in the portal.

Basically, I followed your document to a "T". Everything was created in the system.

The issue is that the "custom fields" are showing up under our new tab "Billing Schedule" but when I select the tab it just brings up the details tab.

Maybe you have some insight on this. Everything on the CRM side looks good but who knows.

Thanks Tiest.

Jason, are you in R/3 or in CRM? How did you add the custom fields (abap or EEW)? Are you within the PC-UI Framework or is this a custom BSP? Tiest.

Tiest. The answer to your questions are below. Ganesh jujst got back from vacation and he is looking at it as well. If we don't have it solved by Monday we'll take a look at it together.

Jason, have a look at the WebLog I wrote on this item, follow the example and see whether you can identify any discrepancy in your application: https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/weblogs.sdn?blog=/pub/wlg/2040.
