Solution Manager - How to access Line Opener Program

hi,

We have LOP ( Line Opener Program) installed in our SAP environment. When looking at OSS Note-797124, it suggests to use LOP functionality within Solution Manager as soon as it is available. My question is " Is it made available now?" we use Solman 7.1 Ehp1, if so, where to look into it?

Would appreciate your feed back on this.

Thanks,

Raj

Hi Raj,

The solution manager version will be "released in mid 2013.". The windows version has some bugs when running on newer versions of windows.

I am waiting for the new version.

Thanks

That Note now says, "An integration of the LOP functionality into the Solution Manager was released with SP10 in Q4 2013." I have SP10, but can't find it, or any documentation on it. Anyone else have any luck?

Hi Morgan

Did you find anything on the integration of LOP with Solution Manager? How I can track if SAP consultant has requested for connection request on my support ticket in my Solution Manager?

Thanks

Hello,

Good news! SAP Note 797124 has been updated with a document on integration with Solution Manager.

You can see connection openings for a system at https://service.sap.com/access-support by selecting the Logbook icon. A sample looks like this:

"R/3 Support <date> <time> SolManRFC to SAP Duration: 0 days, 04:00 hours (CSS)"

You can also receive an email notification when a connection has been opened. Use SU01 to set the email address of the user account for the RFC connection to SAP.

All-,

Make sure you read SAP Note 2076207 - LOP in Solution Manager improved version,  There are two updated manuals attached to this note with dates of 7/10/2014.  It makes quite a bit of difference.

Cheers,
