Dear Experts
Am I right to say that if Unserialized V3 Update is used for 2LIS_03_BF, does it mean that in the Job Control job in LBWE, the job logs in R/3 will not show the details of any delta entry extracted or detected?
The reason why I am asking is because currently, although our delta is running fine for BF, there is no job log entries stating the details of entries like how many generated.
So, I just am seeking to get confirmation on this finding as I am trying to collect some delta statistics.
Thank you for reading.
Have a nice day.
Best regards
Pascal
HI,
Your understanding may be wrong. You should be able to see the LUWs.
Unserialized V3 Update
In this case when data is generated V1 update takes place and data moves to another table known "Update Table" but only after V2 takes palce. So it waits for V2 update to happen and does not miss any record. After that from "Update Table" data goes to Delta Queue when update collection Run(Job) is executed and then it goes to BW when Delta upload Request is generated.
The difference here is the sequence of document data in the BW delta queue that may be different from posting sequence of data so it is good when sequence of data does not matter due to the design of the data targets in BW.

Hello Suman
So sorry. What I meant by unable to see job log entries is the entries in the job log. There is text in the log but not showing how many entries of delta are loaded. The job log is basically start and end and one line in between.
The SMQ1 shows no MCEX03 queue. In RSA7 there is the BF queue. So, there is LUWs but not visible in SMQ1 nor the job control scheduled job log even as BF entries are being loaded properly.
I have checked numerous jog logs. All completed in under 2 seconds even on weekdays through the office hours.
Thanks very much.

Pascal
Dear Suman
Thanks for your reply.
Its run every 20 minutes.
Yes, that was what I did. I even sorted by the duration of the job. The longest is 2 seconds. These can be jobs running in the day on weekdays or off-peak.
I am using BI loading to track the number of deltas. Each load typically fetches hundreds or thousands of records.
This is my workaround.
I understand why SMQ1 does not show it as advised by Experts here some time ago.
So, that is not an issue anymore.
I shall proceed to close this thread.
Thanks to all our Experts here for sharing knowledge.
Kudos!
Best regards
Pascal
