How defaults value of reconcilation key is filled in transaction FP04 ?

Hi All,

I have a issues where in for different users in transaction  FP04 the defaults values are different.

For Eg user A when opens transction  FP04 its has some reconiclation key by default ,where as when user B opens FP04 transaction

no reconcilation key is present for it ?

I have also checked the trace  SQL and also compared  the roles between the user but could't find the exact cause for it.

As per my understanding the defaults values in transaction are assigend based on the parameter assigned to the user, but I am not sure for exact cause of it ?

Has anyone faced similar issue before ?

Thanks in advance for your  help.

With Regards,

Harry

Harry:

Use event 1113 to control recon key values which by standard uses table TFK001U to populate the value.

Hi Harry,

Reconciliation key only comes by default when you have assigned a particular user with a reconciliation group.

The reconciliation group is freely selectable and forms part of the reconciliation key.

You can assign the reconciliation group to the users by the transaction S_KK4_74002323.

So in your scenario, User A has already been assigned a reconciliation group, where User B has not been assigned any reconciliation group.

You have to maintain the reconciliation group for User B in the transaction mentioned above.

Hope it helps..

Thanks,

Amlan

Hi Amlan,

I have checked the transaction S_KK4_74002323 where reconicaltion group is assigned but both the user are having same authorization group.

The only differnce i see in the user is the paramter assigned to them (which may because for default value as per my understcanding )

Thanks for your quick response.

Hi Harry,

Can you let me know the paramter ID that you are talking about?

I can find parameter ID ASL (Reconciliation key) and 8EXGL (FI-CA: Export/Import Key for G/L Correction Records).

Hope it helps..

Thanks,

Amlan

Hi Harry!

As Bill already mentioned you have to check, which function module for event 1113 is active. There are two SAP-Modules: FKK_SAMPLE_1113 takes the key from Parameter '8FK' and FKK_SAMPLE_1113_USER has a more complex logic. If FKK_SAMPLE_1113_USER is active, you may check Table TFK001C, There has to be an entry with origin '16'.

Hi Harry!

Do the Users have the same Authorization Profiles? The authority-object 'F_KKSU' is checked.
