Deletion of Dummy Profit center

Hi All,

We are on Ecc6 EHP4 system and new GL is activated with Document splitting and PC as mandatory characteristics.

Now as ours is Best practices, Dummy Profit center is there by default which i wanted to Delete.

I have got an note 702854 which says that running a report Z30PCA23 will make the dummy PC as normal PC, but unable to understand where to find this report.

Do i have to create it or it will come by Default after applying this note.

Kindly suggest the process if anybody have done this before.

Hi Ravi,

Yes, you are right. It helps to delete the dummy profit center. You may create it manually in SE38.

It makes the DUMMY profit center to a normal profit center which can be deleted then by transaction KE54. Please read also the attached note 702854

Hi Gordon,

To create Z30PCA23 report do we require to implement the note 702854 or without it also we can do it.

As this note mostly says manual config to do. Besides this, cant we create this report through Report painter as going through SE38 system is asking for Developer access key. If you any further info of this if its possible to create through Report Painter, let me know.
