Hello Experts,
I need your help on a issue with reference to customer specific pricing getting updated in CRM. We are maintaining the Customer in CRM and the same is getting replicated to ERP. After a customer is created I create an opportunity for the customer and assign a material to the customer at std price. Now we maintain the customer specific price in ERP and save. This price should ideally get updated in the opportunity but it is not happening. However when I am creating a sales order for this opportunity as a follow up activity. The sales order is picking the customer specific price maintained in ERP.
I would really appreciate your help on the issue.
Thanks
Rahul
Hi Rahul,
Please confirm me whether my understanding is correct OR not.
If above is the scenario then in opportunity undre price tab you need to click on "Reprice" button so that it will re determine the price. Once a transaction is saved then it will not redetermine the price.
If my understanding is wrong then please correct me so that i can help you over it.

Hello Ankush,
Your understanding is correct.
I tried the reprice tab in the pricing in opportunity but it did not get updated. Also I am slightly confused, as to when you say the price will not get redetermined ones the transaction is saved? What transaction are we talking about here. As we can only create the sales order after saving the opportunity. Please advise if I am missing something.
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
Once an opportunity is saved with pricing data and after this if there is any changes in condition record it will not get update to opportunity transaction automatically. User need to click on "Reprice" button to re determine the pricing record.
After clicking on "Reprice" option as well if still it is not taking the valid condition record then you can analyzied it by "Price Trace". Enable price trace for your SAP user ID and you can view the access sequence and condition table which this condition type is using to verify the condition record.
Try one more option create a new opportunity with the same set of data and you can verify what pricing data it is picking up.
