Delta Issue?

Former Member

Two records that we created on R/3 did not get uploaded through my delta load. The time when I ran the delta was just a few minutes after they were created. That is the only reason that I can think of at the moment why they didnt get pulled. So since they were missed, how do I get them now? I ran the delta again after a couple of days also but no records. Is there a way to get those records??? thanks for the help

Fran

Hi,

Could you let us know datasource name. If its a LO-LIS datasource, you need to schedule V3 run for deltas. We can give more information if we get the details.

Thanks.

There are quite a few discussions on this topic. Try to search the forums.

Eg:

But, in your case, the problem seems to be diffrent. It is not possible to miss Delta data, when you don't disturb the scheduled extractions. Check what kind of updates you are using on the R3 side. V3 and Queued Delta methods requires the Update Collective run for updating the data from Extraction queue to Delta queue. Again, search forums, there are lots of discussions on this.

The datasource I'm using is 0CO_OM_CCA_9

This was not a scheduled run. we created a couple of records in Q to test our little modeling change we made in BW. But I've not been able to extract those records even though the records are present in table COEP.

Hi Fran!

CO delta datasources use a default safety interval of 2 hours. See note 553561.

Kind Regards,

Andreas

Sorry I didn't see that you tried running it again after two days...
