Hi Masters,
We have a situation from client,
While MICN run, client do not want to see the batches which have ZERO count.
We understand there is a checkbox "material w/o zero stock".
Scenario : For Material "M" Suppose I ran MICN on Date "A" for Batch "B" with CC indicator maintained as "A" (interval 30 days).
I entered the count as "ZERO" and Posted the Difference.
Now the requirement is Client do not want to see this Batch "B" in the next cycle count, if no transaction has been done on this batch within this span of interval of cycle count. (30 days).
Is there any standard way of achieving this. Can we exclude such batches which are totally in dormant state in span of interval. ?
I understood that, but is there any other way to do it ?
Once the batch is emptied/comsumed & is not active in the interval of next count then there is no point this batch to come up in next MICN run. This is what the requirement is.

Ah Ok, so Archiving the batches is the only solution.
But its strange.
because considering a genuine case Stock can exist for any batch which system is showing Zero Stock.
Still Thanks for the answer.

Hi Jurgen,
This option was suggested to client.
But this option only ignores the batches with Zero count in current cycle count but in next cycle count again it will pop up. They just want to discard the batches with zero count with no activity.
So thats why i was asking is there any other way to discard batches.

you said you understand the checkbox " "material w/o zero stock""
