"Cannot Perform RFC Lookup" in Production system

Hi Experts,

We are facing an error in Production System. "Cannot Perform RFC Lookup".

We have tested for the following points

1. I have changed the Parameter in Interface Determination.

2.Check the CC monitor in No error message.

3. Did dummy changes in CC and Activate.

4.Checked for the connection details in CC.

No use same error Kindly help us to resolve this issue.

Hi Experts,

Thanks for all your inputs.

I have resolved the issue. In the IR -> Go to Particular Software Component Version (Double click)under where the namespace for this scenario->Check the Objects are Modifiable option-->then in the Connection Data for import from SAP system give the SAP System details where u have the RFC Look up table.

Hi Anand,

Please perform a Full Cache Refresh from SXI_CACHE. Also provide the full log of the error "Cannot Perform RFC Lookup" from CC Monitoring.

Are you using same version of PI in PROD?

If it is PI 7.3 then it will not work.

Hi Preethi,

Please check the ABAP dump on ECC system (transaction ST22). Porduction system will have extra security due to that you need additional role to the user used for RFC lookup.

Then you need to test your RFC locally in ECC, there might be the issue with the RFC in ECC.

Check the RFC in ECC system using tcode SE37 and check whether it is working or not.
