hi everybody,

we are using batch characteristic which flows after  result recording ( i.e. value maintained in characteristic during result )

for conf. --- it is ok that one batch get required characteristic value

but for PCNF  , 1 st time confirmation batch get value as per result recorded

&again after for remaining qty conf. we are giving results which again flows , & previous values get changed ( this we did not want)

NEED  -- Characterstic values remain same even after PCNF ,

Hope all get understand with my scenario

HI Chemsim,

as mentioned in your first mail:

but for PCNF  , 1 st time confirmation batch get value as per result recorded

&again after for remaining qty conf. we are giving results which again flows , & previous values get changed ( this we did not want)

can you justify you above statment?

I mean to say that, by definition, a batch is part of stock which contain results/char values different from other batch.

so, when you have different result for same batch, how can you expect the batch to hold these new values.

either you need to create a new Batch number or decide for each PCNF, which PCNF values should the batch contain.

Kindly refer the Help site.

Thanks,

Sandeep

Hello,

If there is only one GR, the latter confirmation should of course overwrite the earlier one.

An idea would be, without assigning any GR batch in order, without automatic GR during confirmation, to try GR with MIGO with different batch numbers for a single order. This is just an idea which you must test to make sure.

Hope it helps.
