Leave Passage Payout wage type - Saudi Arabia

Hi All,

I am working on Payroll for Saudi Arabia in EHP5. In Leave Passage, I can see many provision wage types for dependants and Employee but I dont see any final payout wage type. Is there any standard wage type available for actual amount payout ?

There is country specific  version  available for  saudi arabia from EHP5  country grouping 24..

You use the report (HSAPLEAV0) to calculate the amount to be paid out as leave passage for

an employee and the applicable dependents.

Prerequisites

1. You have defined the feature 24APD to determine the applicable grouping for

employees in Customizing Payroll for Payroll Saudi Arabia.

2.You have entered all the applicable airport destinations and applicable rates in

Customizing for Payroll Saudi Arabia under Personnel Management -> Personnel

Administration-> Define Home Airport Destinations and Fares.

3. You have entered all applicable dependents in  IT0021. If certain dependents that are

not be eligible according to normal rules has to be included in the calculation, you

must select the Leave Passage Applicable Dependent field.

4.You have entered the home airport for all applicable employees in the section

Additional Information of the Personal Data infotype.

Necessary configuration need to be done in IMG..

Payroll Saudi Arabia -  Leave Passage

Calculation .

Payout will be in IT0015 or IT0267 based on the report selection..

Thanks for your response.

That report wont calculate the Leave Passage amount. The documentation given by SAP related to this is wrong and they have updated the old document with the new one. Leave Passage amount is calculated while running the payroll. Only thing is that there is no wage type for pay out.

Leave Passage Amount is calculated in payroll, isn't it? Have you check payroll result on T-code pc_payresult? And you want to display Leave Passage Amount WAGE TYPE on Payslip right? if there is leave passage wage type on this t-code, you just simply configure on T-code PE51, sap will show your wage type in payslip. It's not difficult, just try look for in scn forum

Leave Passage calculation is done through payroll and not report. There is no wage type generated in RT for payout. Its not about the display in payslip but its about generating in RT. In standard there is no wage type generated for payout.

Hi Vj!

Wage Type is generated by Payroll Schema. You have to understand schema logic, after that you will know how and where your wage types generate

SAP doesn't have Payroll for Saudi Arabia, so your current payroll has been customized from Payroll with country grouping 99.

SAP do have payroll for Saudi Arabia in EHP 5 and we are using the SAP provided schema specific to Saudi Arabia. In that schema, all wage types for provisions for employees and dependents exists but payout wage type is not given by SAP.
