How can the characterists are displays at Sales Order

HI All,

How can it be possible the some of the Characteristics were displayed in Display Mode & some of the Characteristic are changeable.

Is it the reason, those Characteristics are selected at Segment Level displayed here display mode.?

What needs to activated to get the PSG Field in Sales Order..?

Dear Rajasekhar,

Check Tr Code KEPA for Characteristic Group, This is the standard Function given to  control fields during entry for PSG...and this Char Grp is assigned to a Business Transaction or Record Type...which has resulted in the screen shot shown above.

Sales Order is a Fixed Char...so it is available in all Opr Concerns...if you want it to see in PSG you need to goto KE3Q and make the changes. However, it highly not advised to have it as a Characteristic...there are many posts in this Space(forum)...suggesting not to use it.

Dear Surya,

As you said it was KEPA config step, but in my landscape this step was not defined even though i am getting the above screen i Sales Order.  What could be reason for this..!
