Activate LIS (S011, S012, S013, S015)

Hi,

I need to activate the standard MM info structures (S011, S012, S013,S015) for BI purposes.

Can any one give me any guide or tutorial?

I thought BI is used to replace the LIS

Hi Jurgen, thank you for your response.

BI refers to all tools and methods (ETL, datawarehousing, reporting and monitoring, cubes ....) to collect, organise, consolidate and restore data. this produces large amounts of information (KPIs ...) to support making decisions...

The logistic Information System contains, among others, Info structures that group Characteristics (Dimension) and Key figures (KPIs) extracted from SAP ERP tables. It contains also ETL capabilities (update rules, update groups and update statistics ...).

SAP Best practices for Crystal report and Dashboard (Xcelsius) are built on the LIS.

I still dont know how to activate the LIS.

The document you gave me contains all LIS fonctionnalites. What I need is the technical part of LIS.

Can you give me step by step document to activate all the MM Info Structures?
