Need help regarding ALV BLOCK LIST

Hi Guys,

I am displaying 3 different sections of the tables using REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_DISPLAY'.

I am not able to include the feature of "Expand/Collapse". ( for the sub total rows.).

How to achive "collapse/expand" feature using BLOCKED ALV LIST.

Is it technically possible?

Thanks for your help.

Yes. ALV_BLOCK_LIST has very limited functionality.

Why dont you go for OOPS alv and use split containers to display multiple ALVs? You loose no features.

Chinmay,

OOPS grid can be done, but display not looks good.

for Each container, enduser has to scroll down and up for horzonally and vertically seperately. More over, enduser may not accept this kind of display.

Using blocked ALV all the result can be seen in  a single screen and srolling can be done once only for entire report.

I know that BLOCK ALV List has limited features, but I am looking for a way to expand/collapse the records/rows based on sub totals rows.

Is it really not possible?

Not to my knowledge.
