Bex Analyzer variables popup problem

Hi,

I have few embedded queries in the workbook. The variables window appears to some users everytime before the formation of the each query, but I don't want the user be able to change the preselection. Others do not have this problem. So I guess, these user have made certain changes in bex Analyzer settings, but can't find where (or maybe I'm wrong). Could anyone  give me some advices? Thanks a lot.

Hi Andrius,

Usually the duplicate variables appear only once.

There is a setting for controlling pop up of duplicate variables. Go to  workbook settings-> Variables and  Check "display duplicate variables only once". This should fix the issue.

I do not see any other issue as to why the same variable is popping up several times.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I use bex 3.5 version... so the solution is not the same as you recommended
