Default Ibase Search for Component Using Object Data

Hi Folks,

On Ibase Search screen I want to Default the Search For field to 'Component Using Object Data' and the corresponding search attributes related to Component Using Object Data.

What is standard is, when the page loads for the first time the Search For field is set to 'Header Using Header Data'.

I checked DO_INITATTRIBUTES attributes in CRMCMP_IBSEARCH/IBSearchType view which defaults the query_name to IBIBaseToIBaseAdv and sets lv_key to HEADERBYHEADER. I changed lv_key to COMPONENTBYIOBJECT in debug but didn't really help me.

Can anyone tell me where should I start and which methods can I use to enhance? Thanks and really appreciate quick replies

I had the same issue and was able to solve it by

    changing

    NavigationalLink SEARCH_COMP_F4, add

    Target CRMCMP_IBSEARCH/ComponentByIObject Inbound Plug DEFAULT

    and remove ComponentByComponent.

Leave ViewSet CRMCMP_IBSEARCH/IBSearchTypeViewSet -> ViewArea Search -> at View CRMCMP_IBSEARCH/empty (default)
