New R3 Data Service

Hi,

I need to use a BAPI of my R3 system in the Visual Composer of my Portal.

But when I go to the 'Select provider' I see that I haven't defined any 'R3 Data Services'.

Can anybody tell how I can define my R3 system into VC for being used?

Hi David,

do you have defined a system at the portal system administration and additional a alias for the system? What is the result of the connection test?

Thanks Fabian for your information, I think this is really interesting and very helpful now that I'm beginning with VC 7.3. I did something with VC 7 sometimes ago.

I've check this point 'How do I establish a connection with a SAP ERP system?' within this link http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/bf891813-0301-0010-a1a7-fb2ee352abaf and in my opinion the three points seem to be correct.

In fact, we updated our portal to the 7.3 realese and perhaps something happened which caused we couldn't see the R3 system.

Is it possible to do further tasks for checking what can be happening with VC?
