Records not uploading

Former Member

I was working with someone from Controlling side and she created two new records, after which I did a delta extraction. But no records came into my ODS or subsequent data targets. Also I would like to know what are the tables we look into while checking certain records. For example, a fellow consultant was looking at /BIC/AZCC_O_0100 . But i dont know what this refers to? Please help

Thanks

Fran

Hi,

There might be a safety delta interval set for your datasource. which datasource are you working with.

Thanks.

I'm using 0CO_OM_CCA_9. How do I check for safety delta interval and could you explain what that does ??? Thanks for your help

Hi Fran,

By default the safety delta limit for 0CO_OM_CCA9 is 2 hours. Take a look at these links for detailed info:

Hope this helps...

Hi Fran,

As you mentioned that you are loading to an ODS, /BIC/AZCC_O_0100 would refer to the Active Data records table of your ODS named ZCC_O_01. Take a look in SE16 > ZCC_O_01 > F4.

Hope this helps...

The two new records were created on Thursday, Today I did the delta again and still no records. Actually the monitor light is still yellow but it says 0 from 0 records. Only post processing is being carried out i guess. Why am I not getting the new records?

Could there be any other reason for the records to not update? Other than the safety interval???

Did you try to see if the new records are extracted in RSA3 (extractor checker in the source system)?

You can also try to check the extraction job in SM37 on your source (the job starting with the request number)

Try running the extractor in RSA6.

Hey Fran,

If you have a selection option of "Posting Date" in the datasource on RSA3, u can restrict it to the posting date and check to see how many records are extracted.

so if i find out that the records are not being updated in the extractor, what does that mean? The records were posted in front of me in R/3. so why is the extractor not picking up those records.

You would have to debug the extractor if you are sure the records are present..
