Hello, colleagues!
Can anyone help with the following task: I was requested to compose "Test script" for BI 4.0 SP5. The idea is to check whether all the BI4 platform components (and then all the bi4 applications) are working properly after installing the updates.
It would be really great if someone can provide me with such a document or at least with a template for creating such a checklist or some advice.
Now I've no idea about the right sequence of actions.
Thanks a lot!
BR, Alexey

Hi Alexey,
We have created a test scripts using a tool called HP LoadRunner so we could make sure the performance has not degraded after we upgraded our system, and we have our BOBJ servers tuned to the new system. Based on which type of reports our users where running (webi, dashboards, CR), we ran test scripts to mimic 4hr work periods. You can find this information by looking at your BOBJ reporting statics.
Let me know if you need more details. Thanks Bill
