Hi Friends,

From last couple of days i am facing issue"WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer" with my GUI 710. If I keep my GUI session idle for couple of miniutes its throwing this error. This is not only with one specific server. Even i tired by upgrading to GUI 730 but no luck.

I am running my GUI on windows XP. And in our network i am only the person who is getting this error.

Here i am attaching screen shots for reference.

Please suggest if any settings need to be change on my desktop.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Suresh Babu

Hi Srinivasan, Seems these notes related to server level issues. But for me issue is only with my laptop.

If this problem occurs on a Wifi Network...then just try if the below workaround works?

Please check your Power Options in Control Panel. Read also http://support.microsoft.com/kb/837058.

This issue may be related to energy saving options. In that case LAN is down and watchdog packets are not sent between your laptop and server. The result - WSAECONNRESET.
