How can I create users for BPC 10 for MS

Hi all,

I am a newbie of the SAP BPC.

I have downloaded a demo from SAP and deploy the demo to BPC10. Its guide remind me to login as user "demoadm" and password "sbo123" in the demo environment.

Therefore I create a windows account "demoadm" but I still cannot login as "demoadm".

How can I login the system?

Hi Gordon,

You can use the admin ID with which the BPC system was installed or with which the appset was restored in your server.

The user with which you are trying to login must be added as a user in the security of BPC.

Actually the user "demoadm" exists in security after I completed the deployment of the demo.

However I do not know how to login as this user.

Even I have created a windows account "demoadm", I still cannot log in as this user.

Should I install CMS or somethings?

Hi Gordon,

My suggestion would be to login using the ID with which the appset was restored.

Then create a new user and you can login with the new user ID.

Hi Gordon,

you don't need CMS, the user should be present in the Active Directory, check in the tblusers if the 'active' field of demoadm is 'Y'.

At least must be available the users you use to install BPC.

Don't forget to do a "modify application" on all the applications as first activity.
