Prompt Details defined in BI

Hi All,

I have a small doubt here.

Currently we are using SAP BOBJ 4.0 with Patch 4.

I have a BEx query designed in which prompt is created on top of Company code(Mandatory Prompt) for which Variable Represents is defined as "Select Option" as attached.

When i m executing this query in Analyzer, i was prompted as where i can select a single value or multiple values or interval values which i correct as per the property defined.

But when coming to BO, i m trying to build a BO report using BICS connection on top of this query in which this same company code prompt is coming as only interval values.

Ideally it should be like a single value or multiple value or interval values as it is prompted in BI..

Why is this difference when coming to BO?

Can some one give me more information on how this Bex property work in BI and BO?
