Enhancement extractor 2LIS

Hello Gurus,

I have a requirement from MM users to create a new report in BW. This report will include fields that are spread in 3 datasources (2LIS_02_HDR, 2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_SCL and others table in ECC (transaction ME3N, ME2N). Can you please someone give me some advice how is the best idea to develop this?

Hi,

One thing is clear that you have to use the above mentioned LO extractors.

Step 1: Install from RSA5 and activate them in RSA6

Step 2: LBWE-->Activate the required Extraction Structures, Generate the Datasources and Select the update mode

Step 3: Fillup Setup tables for Full loading purpose in BW

Step 4: Check in RSA3 in F mode to see the entire set of data which you are going to load to BW

Step 5: Replicate all the datasources and create DSO, transformations, DTPs etc..

Step 6: Initialize your datasources inBW

Step 7: Check the delta data in RSA3 in ECC with D mode & also check in RSA7 for Delta LUWs

Step 8: The data flow design in BW side is critical.

Step 9: Create Multiprovider if you have created three separate DSOs for three datasources

Step 10: Start creating Queries in BEx

Note: You mentioned that you need to get data from two t-codes also. You need to plan either to enhance the standard extractors(LO) to get the other fields or create a fourth extractor separately for the other fields
