we have an application that takes user security file (in a format similar to older CPM) and processes each user and user profile. It calls internal BPC's web services and everything is ok. However since we process over 1000 users, the process can take multiple hours. So we think to write directly to sql tables, which would be ok and fast option.
However, I'm not sure if it is enough just to write to sql tables, it might be necessary to invalidate some user file caches or do other actions outside sql. Have anyone successfully written to security tables without any problems in bpc? Will client xml data be refreshed automatically?
