Approval system in Bank communication management

Hi Gurus,

My client wants to implement Bank communication management( FSCM ).

Our requirement is to have the approval process( workflow ) after we have the proposal run and not after the payment run.

Is it possible???

And what are the steps need to be followed for this.

And if the approval process comes into effect after payment run through APP,

then the system will generate a reverse document for every clearing document once the batch got rejected.

Won't it be a mess...??

(we can postpone the payment however the clearing document already got posted in the system, is it a right thing to do.....???).

Please reply ASAP.

Any input will be highly appreciated.

    I also have same requirement from our client for implementing approval workflow process before payment run and after proposal run. any input are most welcome.

    we currently already have BCM. however we have currently not there any Approval workflow in place. currently we are doing BCM approvals after payment run and before payment file gets created and following BCM approvals, payment files are being sent to Bank.

      Thanks for your reply.

      For 2x control for a batch amount of 500000 to 2500000, in "change and release" node what should be the settings and what is the settings needed in Additional release strategy node..

      Same for 3x control...(if the batch amount is more than Rs 2500000, 3x control is needed..)

      Can you please explain it in detail..(step by step for the approval process only)...

    Hi,

    In Bank Communication Management please note the following points :-

    1) Approval mechanism will work after the payment document has been generated.

    2) On rejection the payment document, the document needs to be manually reversed in Financial Accounting

    3) You can have one reviewer and multiple approvers based on value limits i.e. say upto USD 1M (1 reviewer and 1 approver), from USD 1.01 M to 5M (1 reviewer and 2 approvers)

    4) Approval / Rejection happens at batch level rather than individual line item level.

    5) Reviewer can approve / reject at line item level.

      Hi Enes,

      we have discussed with SAP on possible solutions on same and after dicussion with SAP and business, our business has excluded this requirement from scope as it is extending project time lines.

      so, we did not implement the solution.
