Error in installing add-on "EPMConnector.xlx" into BI4 Dashboard

Hi all,

I have installed BI4 Dashboard and want to connect the BPC 10 to the dashboard, with the add-on EPMConnector.xlx

However, the following messages pop up when selecting the component in "Manage Add-On":

The following components created with Flex 2 are not supported in this version. Please upgrade them with the Flex 4 SDK

I have downloaded the Flex 4 SDK but have no idea how to upgrade the component.

How can I fix the issue??

Hi Gordon,

EPM connector delivered from EPM Add-in SP13 Patch04 or higher is supported with Dashboard SP03 or higher.

I'm using the EPM SP 13 Patch 03 and BO Dashboards 4.0 SP05 Patch 04.

Someone found something that could help or if there is another similar component?

Hi Gordon,

I'm facing the same with Dashboards 4.0 SP05.

Dashboards 4.0 SP02 still uses Adobe Flex 2, and the connector works with it, even if i am facing some issues.

I don't believe you can upgrade the connector to Flex 4 yourself since you would need the Adobe project files of the EPM Connector.

We just installed Dashboards to create BPC 10 dashboards, so for now we will be on SP02.
