SAP HR STRUCTURAL PROFILES INTO SAP BI

Hi ,

I am working on SAP HR BI Integration , I am looking for any help on bringing Org structure into BI for reporting ,

1. I have SAP HR Standard DSO loaded into BI and run the standard program(RSECADMIN - GENERATION OF ANALYSIS AUTHORIZATIONS) for bringing into bi , but i am getting all the users from SAP HR into my log file as error , i want to get specific users from SAP HR into BI --- any clues.

2. if any PD Profile not assigned in OOSB , then its taking All profile with user SAP * , how would this behave in BI

3. report is not working as per the configured organization structure

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ali

Ali - I think you would have better luck getting this question answered in the BW space:

    http://scn.sap.com/community/data-warehousing/netweaver-bw

That said, I worked on a project similar to this years ago, and we had our ABAP program write a function module as a data source to read in the HR org structures into BW. Just a thought. Unfortunately I know longer work there nor do I have access to the code on how that was done.

    Hi Ali,

For your post it seems that your are using Structural authorization and users which are there in ECC are may or may not present in BW, so you need to put filter in InfoPackage level while bringing data.

For your last point can you please elaborate more?

    Regards,

    Ganesh
