Legacy to Ecc

Hi Experts,

                      I have two basic queries

                     1. As one of the domestic client in his business which is related to Cement Trading is using one tool in the front end for placing the orders and also for transportation in the logistics process and it automatically generates in the backend ECC so here how this process happens is there any web logic behind the third party tool and the Ecc how does the orders placed in his own tool automatically gets reflected in the ECC could any one of you please respond to this query

             2.As in our business scenario if the customer is requesting on the order on jan 13 and the cement bags are out of stock at that date and the sap checks and gives the material availability date as 16 jan so we had confirmed the order on that day and as of now the factory calender is not holiday on 15 th jan but we are trying to close the factory at 15,and the customer lead time is 1 day if we give holiday for factory on 15 then how will the order gets fulfilled as it takes one day to process the stock to customer and also could you me tell about where the settings are maintained for the customer calender and factory calender in  ECC and to change the factory calender modifying the date as holiday.

Hi rajendra !

for our first qurý it is connect by ale-edi to sap data base,it sshould be enable in v0v7 contols enable automatic p.o indicator and also system should enabled for idoc,port and partnerprofiles etc should be created by this way it is getting connectedd.

for your 2nd qurý  factory calender is assigned to plant in enterpirse structure,and check in customer data sales are data billing view,invoice date field tab --fact calender,

and i recommend don't change the factory calender inspite of it either rescheduling or do backorder process and also check with stock in safety or restriced stock ,pipeline.etc
