Dear Banniya,

If you want to have Plan Cost in cost Center transferred to COPA..use the following

Tr Code for Transferring Costs

1) Plan PA Assessment Cycle Creation KEU7

2) Plan PA Assessment Cycle Execution KEUB

Tr Code for Transferring Activites.

1) Plan PA Indirect Activity Allocation Creation KEG7

2) Plan PA Indirect Activity Allocation Execution KEGB.

The record type the system uses automatically is "D"

Hi Banniya,

The reason i was not able to comment on the 3 rd Point is, i was also not sure of the correct answer.

If i were you i would be looking into Tr Code KEPM for this.

It seems we are now left with one option...wait and Pray  for the Top Brass in this form like Ajay, Christian, Eli, Waman and Raman Rana  to chip in.

Hi,

Planning cost in COPA will happen with the help of COPA Planning (KEPM Planning): Majorly we have 4 steps in copa planning:

1. Planning Level: Here, we plan on which characteristics we want plan cost. Eg: customer, product or region

2. Planning Package: It creates with reference to the planning level and here we will decide the characteristics values like company code, fiscal year and version.

3. Planning Method: Here, we execute the planning function data.

4. Parameter Set: Here, we maintain the layout for particular characteristic and value field.

I think, this is only an outline of COPA Planning.

Hi,

KEUB is used to only to have the plan cost transfer to COPA through assessment.

KEGB: for Plan Indirect activity allocation:

With the above two t-codes how can you expect the plan cost for other COPA items such as revenues, product cost items and other expenses?

Hi,

In COPA Planning level select the characteristics company code, region, product and customer. Also, select the version '0' in selection tab and save it.

In 2nd step Planning Package keep the cursor on your planning level (i.e. plan name) and right click to provide details such as company code, period and record type (eg: F). Save it.

In 3rd Step select the plan and below that you will find Planning method, here keep the curson on Enter planning data right click and select Create Parameter set. again Enter and give the parameter set name and give currency and other detials.

4. In Planning Layout - select the layout and click on create and click on value fields to select relevant value fields and save.

In this way, system will capture the plan values in combination of recording type, version, characteristics and value fields.
