Using General RemoteCube

Hi, I want to try out the General RemoteCube to do reporting off a non-SAP external system.

This is the only documentation I've found:

In the steps at the bottom, once the source system and remotecube are set up, it doesn't say anything about how the source system (infosource) is linked to the remotecube. When I right click the remotecube, I do not get an option to create update rules.

Does anyone know what to do?
