How to Retrieve Data and Display in SAP UI5 form

Hi All

I am planning to get data from a database table and fill the text fields a form,but how to get the data ,is there any JDBC interface available also how to bind it to text fields , I believe this needs be handled via Controller file of specific view, Request your ideas.
