BODS 3.1 client Installation issue

Hi Experts,

I am trying to install BODS 3.1 client on my machine,however I have got an error,"Adapter configuration Failed" I ignored the error and

continued the installation.

Now,I have got another error "BOE-MySQL insufficient Rights ".

Can anyone tell me the reason for this error and how can I complete the BODS client installation?

    Currently the BODS 3.1 software has comprehensively passed its published End Of Life date. Please note, our published online knowledge materials remain available for your continued self service use. We encourage you to contact your maintenance renewals account manager to discuss upgrade options to currently supported product.

    Please find SAP Knowledge Base Article 1546731 - Data Integrator End Of Life.

    I would strongly recommend you to consider an upgrade.

    Hi,

    If you are installing the DS client then you should only select designer so there would be no need for adapter or Mysql configuration. Anyhow the recommendation is that you install latest SP/Patch of 3.2 or use DS 4.0.

    For your original error see kb http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1644531

    For "BOE-MySQL insufficient Rights" check what is Mysql admin login and find out the root password to help you identify and assign extra rights.
