Batch search error while creating transfer order of TR

Dear SAP,

While the user was trying a create a TO with reference to TR of material 102874568 he was facing the error 'no batches were selected during batch search '.More importantly this issue was for this material and it is working fine for other materials..Batch class has been maintained at master data level.Please give your inputs

Hi Susmitha,

Please check the batch Selection criteria/Sort Rule assigned for this movement type in Transaction LS53.

You can make analysis in the TO creation screen(foreground),using Menu - Environment -->Display Batch determination.

Here you can check the Batch determination log and identify the reason for batches not being selected. If needed you can change the batch selection criteria also and redetermine batches in the same screen.

Hi Susmitha,

The batch search procedure is not able to find the batch number, please check the stock in LS24 and see any batches are available  and enter the relevant batch in TO creation screen.

Hi vijay,

There was stock in LS24 .The issue is that user doesn't wants  to enter batch  every time and batch needs to be selected automatically

Could you check LS51 and see analyze any batch determination procedure is defined.

Also check for batch strategy under

IMG >  Batch Management > Batch Determination and Batch Check > Batch Search Procedure Definition > Define Warehouse Management Search Procedure

IMG >  Batch Management > Batch Determination and Batch Check > Batch Search Procedure Definition >Assign WM Search Procedure

Please check for these entry's and let me know .

All this has been maintained and this is working fine for all materials under plant and warehouse only this problem arises with 2 materials only

Hi,

Please check whether you have maintained the records for these two materials in condition table in transaction omk4/omk5. It should be an issue with condition record only.

Kindly check for movement type driven batch search , stock availability.

Try foreground and background options and analyze , let me know if it works.
