Hi all,

we have a big prob with our SAP Portal.

If we try to run any kind of "Not Portal Content" we get an

We mean this is a Software that runs on a backend SAP System.

The Error looks as follow:

Portal runtime error.

An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.

Exception ID: 03:26_12/12/12_0031_3720751

Refer to the log file for details about this exception

In the Logfiles on the server ( \usr\sap\<SID>\<Instance>\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\defaultTrace.7.trc)

The logfiles read the following:

com.sap.security.api.umap.system.ExceptionInImplementationException: System alias '$BACKEND_SIDCLNT$BACKEND_CLIENT' does not point to a valid PCD location and seems to be either corrupted or simply missing.

Did you know a solution about that??

Thanks a lot

Sven

Hi all,

we fixed the Problem about the Runtime Error. It is very very simple.

Go in your Portal to:

"System Administration" -> "System Configuration" -> "UME Configuration" -> "User Mapping"

and switch it from '$BACKEND_SIDCLNT$BACKEND_CLIENT' to (No reference system)

thats all and the prob was fixed 😉
