Hello All ,
Product hierarchy changed in ECC and same updated in CRM , we are using TPM where facing few issues since some of the promotions are created on old hierarchy , as i understood there is a concept called PMDC where changes like Product statuses , List prices , Price lists ,Partner/product ranges & Listings and Hierarchy changes can be updated through PMDC .
I tried to run Report : CRM_MKTPL_PMDC , but it's not giving any result after running , is there any specific steps or configurations needs to be done to use PMDC .

Hi Praneeth,
To my knowledge, the PMDC report only identifies the changes done to the Master Data like adding a new product category, removing a existing product category, adding a new product to the existing product hierarchy, removing a product category from the product, etc.
The changes are first done in ECC. Then, the same is replicated to CRM. After this, the PMDC report has be run to identify the changes in CRM.
If using the territory, then another report is run to update the changes in the territories as well.

We are not using territory management ,
This is what my understand on PMDC
When you perform important modifications in your CRM Master Data, like
changing Product Groups, Product Categories, Business Partner
hierarchies, etc, you must execute the Pertinent Master Data Change
(PMDC) report to adjust your Planning Data accordingly.
Report ( CRM_MKTPL_PMDC ) would report the Planning Data maintained for the combinations Old Category/Product, to the combinations New Category/Product.

Hi,
PMDC program is using to update the master data changes in Trade promotions or any Marketing objects, like Product category, group, List price etc changes.
It had a limitation while running, if Promotion is already released and the start of the Promotion is in the past, in that case this program will not refresh the Promotions by updating the changed master data.
We have screen selection option to look back number of days to check Master data changes as well only Price changes.
@ Erik - Can you please give the error details, what exactly you are getting.
