Hi Mahesh,

As a part of periodic maintenance activity purging of completed MDM workflows and regular Purging/clean up of MDM ports (folders).

Not sure about purge.xml but I guess you are referring to purging of xml files from archive folder.

PLease refer to this link for further details -

Hi Mahesh,

Purge is an act which will remove xml files from archive folder of Inbound/outbound ports in MDM.

I guess there is some program handled by Basis team which purges xml files from MDM folders and it's not a MDM pack.

When any of your archive folders are overloaded with xml files over a period of months (each xml file of size 50 Mb-100Mb) it occupies lot of memory. Under such condition, basis team members receive notification over email. On receiving notifications, basis team runs a program at their end which will purge files from Inbound/Outbound fodlers of MDM to some other directory.

I am not sure about purge.xml you mentioned above. May be this is what you are relating to!

Hope this helps.

Ali
