ElSTER Integration Builder Error

Dear SAP PI Guru,

i have a question concerning ELSTER configuration. We have patch are your SAP PI 7.11 System for new TAX requierements. We obtained the current patch of the XI content SAP_HR for your HR system from the SAP .After the patch we have the following Mapping error :

Hello Badang,

Go to the related Operation Mapping in the ESR and select/deselect the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' option. Then test the scenario and see if this fixes or gives a different error.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the Input. But the SAP ELSTER SWCV is Private and Protected more over untouchable. So isn't possible to change anything.

Hi all,

we experienced the same issues as described.

The root cause is a "switch" of the approach that SAP uses for ELSTER in general.

If you update the XI Content ELSTER 2.1 and do not make any changes to your configuration in Directory, you will have issues.

You do need to follow SAP note https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1279464 first:

1. make sure you maintain ALL modules described in above note , within your SOAP receiver channel

2. make sure you remove the Operation mapping within your Interface Determination ! ( mapping     seems to be done in one module now and not in a real "mapping" object anymore )

Alternatively you just can use the wizard in IB directory ( Config) and use the ELSTER 2.1 content Process Integration Scenario "Elster_HCM" as basis for objects generation.

You will see that there is no Operation Mapping anymore used and some modules are added in the SOAP channel which will map the messages to and from ELSTER service.

Please note that we have the error in the SAP PI System. We have inport the Content for SAP and the Mapping is SAP Programe and we can't change anything in the mapping.
