Only 12PL Quota carry forward to next year.

Dear Experts,

I have a requirement where every month 1.5 PL is getting generated through time evaluation and at the end of the year only 12 Pl will be carry forward, remaining 6PL will be lapse. Suppose an employee has 15PL in year 2011 and in year 2012 he got 18 PL and he did not taken any PL. So at the end of the year 2012 12PL should be added in 15 PL so total sum is 27 and 6PL have to lapse.

Kindly advise what I have to do?

Yes..... like if employee has 13 then 12 will carry forward and remaining 1 will be lapse.

it means on dec 31 this rule shd work  * **** VARSTCURMO ** leave 12   (DECEMBER) HRS=FRXXC    WHERE XX IS UR ABSENCE QUOTA AND FR C MEANS BRING THE BALANCE HRS?12 *            LESS OR EQUAL PASS TO TIME TYPE ADDDBXXX >HRS=R HRS*-1 ADDDBXXXX   * **** VARSTCURMO ** leave 12   (DECEMBER) HRS=FRXXC    WHERE XX IS UR ABSENCE QUOTA AND FR C MEANS BRING THE BALANCE HRS?12 *            LESS OR EQUAL PASS TO TIME TYPE ADDDBXXX >HRS=R ADDZL 1132 HRS*-1 ADDDBXXXX

Hi Sikindar,

I think this will carry forward 12 leaves which is exactly my requirement but along with that  this rule has to read quota from jan till dec and in that duration if quota is greater then 12 then that number of PL will be lapse.

Like: If emp. have 24 total PL in that he got 18 PL in year 2012 and he has taken 12PL in the same year so there should be no PL lapse in this case.

Can u give Example.....

My Apology for late reply.... Please take an example Earlier we were having a policy where employee was getting total 12PL (1PL per month). Now from 01.01.2012 we have introduced a new policy where employee will get total 18PL (1.5PL per month), and in the year end if employee is having more then 12 PL(which counts from 01.01.2012 to 01.12.2012) then only 12PL will carry forward and remaining PL will be lapse. In case of no PL availed.

But the problem is suppose if employee joined in Jan2011 and he got 12PL and from year 2012 he is getting 1.5 PL every month, so if he got 18PL in year 2012 then in year 2013 only 12PL from 18PL(Which he got in year 2012) will be carry forward and remaining 6PL will be lapse. Total PL will be 12+12+1.5=25.5 in year Jan 2012.

It means every time for PL lapse will be read for current year only and remaining PL will be carryforward every year.

Hope this scenario is clear.
